A recent documentary shed light on previous lottery winners. The piece followed winners who winning the money had improved their lives and others who had made it worse.

One man featured on the programme scooped the jackpot with 5 balls and the bonus – but lost his ticket! Anyone would be gutted if they lost their lottery tickets regardless of the amount they won. But if you won the jackpot, I would just not want to think about how gutted you would be.

This guy turned over his house trying to find it and although Camelot believed the ticket belonged to him they would not pay out. He took them to court and lost.

The guy has now gone back to his normal life probably always thinking it could have been different! How awful is that!
