East Herts Judo Club (EHJC)

Thank you to Neil and Martin for looking after things at this event. We had 7 players in attendance, Noah Lawson, Theo Lawson, Alex Jackson, Ben Green, Becky Green, Jason Bull & Connor Barnard. Please see Neil and Martins reports below.
 
Noah: Won 3 Lost 1 - Bronze
Noah showed maturity in all of his fights & fought strongly ,after an initial loss, to succeed in the bronze medal knockout.

Theo: Won 1 Lost 3 - Bronze
Theo fought well and was a little unlucky with some decisions that did not go his way.

Alex: Won 2 Lost 1 - Bronze
Alex suffered an nose injury in his first fight & battled back strongly to success in the bronze medal knockout.

Ben: Won 1 Lost 2 - Bronze
Although Ben is still giving away the best part of two years in this category, we began to see signs of the "fighting" Ben returning.

Becky: Won 2 Lost 0 - Gold
Becky failed to make the under 40kg category by 0.1kg, but went on to score two ippon wins & secure success in the over 44kg group.

Jason: 2 wins 1 loss - Bronze

Jason fought very well in his first 2 fights taking him to the semi final where although Jason did most of the attacking he lost by 3 yuko's to 1. 

Connor: 3 wins 1 loss - Silver

Connor again fought well dominating his weight group looking like gold was his for the taking. In the final he was a score up but went onto his back while trying to throw his opponent and was held down.
