We had nine players go to High Wycombe on
Saturday for the Junior Open Championships, Bethany Kitchener, Tommy Tancock,
Chelsea Harben, Jos Goddard, Alex Jackson, Connor Barnard, Jason Bull, Sam
Barker & Jake Barker.

Another successfull days judo for our club, 7 medals from 9 entries is a pretty
decent haul.!! But as I say to all our players - "I judge you
on performance, not medals" and the performances over the past couple
of months have been very good. It was particulalrly pleasing to see us totally
dominate the U42kg category, having two players (Connor and Alex) in the final.
Once again thank you to friends and family for the fantastic support you
offered all our players. The support from the Irish section of the crowd was
particularly vocal this week!!!!!
